Wiradjuri Language Pilot The NSW Board of Studies has been working closely with Mrs Herbert to develop units of work for the Wiradjuri Language. Mrs Herbert year 1/2 have been learning Wiradjuri this year and can name family members, body parts and converse with basic greetings. Mrs Clarke has introduced Wiradjuri into year 3/4 this term with the aid of the AEA from Forbes High School. Forbes North and Yoorana Gunya jointly applied for funding to support language in the school and were successful in receiving a significant sum of money. During term 4 Aboriginal language tutors will be trained by Stan Grant and Dr John Rudder to implement language into all other classes throughout the school.
